It was an early morning start to get up to Birmingham for 9AM for the Powerchair Football Coaching Course run by The WFA.

A few of my friends from my team and other teams were there which helped make the course feel more relaxed.

I had a very enjoyable day and learnt a lot more about the behind the scenes part of organising powerchair football coaching sessions.

During the day we were put in to small groups and had to think of drills that we could get the other players to try out.

We also did some basic drills and practice around cones.

At the end of the course we were all giving our certificates and USB sticks to allow us to run and coach our own sessions. I am looking forward to doing some coaching and putting my new skills in to practice.
